What is identity verification?
Identity verification is the process of verifying you are who you say you are by running your identification information through our trusted 3rd party verification software.
We ask all our Users to fill out identity information because we want to build a community of trust and transparency.
Your transactions are real, and so are the people you make them with!
What is required to fully verify my identity?
Our identity verification process was designed to take the guesswork out of who you’re interacting with online.
In order to fully verify your identity on WinWinX you will need to:
- Verify your email address
- Verify your phone number
- Upload a photo of your face that does not include any personal information
- Select what gender you identify as
- Enter your date of birth
- Enter your home address
- Fill out your public narrative and/or upload a short video of yourself
- Enter your employment information
- Enter your social security number
- Scan a photo of the front & back of your government ID card
- Record a facial video to compare against your government ID card
- Connect your primary bank Account
- Add a primary credit or debit card
Is all of my information secure?
WinWinX takes data security very seriously. We use trusted & secure 3rd party identity verification platforms to verify the information you provide.
It is then siloed & encrypted. These silos never “talk” to each other. Rest assured, this is the safest way to confirm your, and other WinWinX Users’, identities.
Your SSN and other information are never sold or used in any other fashion.
WinWinX does not store or keep your social security number. Once it has been used to help confirm identity, your information is then scrubbed from our system.
Why do I have to fully verify my identity before I can make an offer or list a product?
Great question! We want trusted individuals to use our platform to connect with one another.
Whether you are buying a product or making a listing, you can rest easy knowing that the User on the other end of the transaction has fully verified their identity & can be trusted.
This helps mitigate any possible situations where the Buyer or Seller is just looking to take someone for a “Wild Ride”. It’s all in the name of nurturing Win-Win scenarios for BOTH individuals!
I created an account but didn’t fully verify my identity. Can I still verify my identity?
Absolutely! If you already have a WinWinX account that is not fully verified simply login to your account HERE and go to the, “Verify Me” section of the drop-down menu in the upper right corner.
From there you can follow all the prompts to fully verify your identity!
Do note that only ONE phone number, email address, and social security number can be used per account.
